Happy 4th of July!! (Late)

I did not wish everone a happy fourth of July, as I should have. Instead, I will tell you what I did.

I was in the Edina Fourth of July Parade (with my high school swim team.) The candy that I brought to throw out over the mile-long route went FAST!

Later on, we went to my grandparents house for a yummy evening desert and a view of the fireworks. In past years, the fireworks have been quite visible. In the last couple of years, the trees have begun to grow too high for us to have the kind of view that we once did. One of my grandparent’s neighbors put chairs on their roof so that they could get an unrestricted view. Two legs were on each side of the point in the middle of the roof. It was very unique. I wish that I would have brought my camera.
