Website
In addition to writing for The Gustavian Weekly, I also redesigned their website during the summer of 2009, and served as Web Editor for two years, working to enhance the design and technology. During my time at The Weekly, the website won multiple awards for excellence as a student newspaper from the Associated Collegiate Press, the oldest and largest college student journalist membership organization. The site was a 2011 Online Pacemaker Winner, 2010 Online Pacemaker Finalist, and won a fifth place award at the 2010 Best of Midwest journalism convention. I also custom coded a system to manage advertisement information for staff and a system to manage and collect senior congratulation notices.
